What is included on a Relaxation for Living Course?
A Course consists of 4 weekly 90 minute sessions, plus practice and exercises between classes. Written material is provided along with a lending library, and books and CDs are for sale during the course.  The Course is taught in an inter-active learning style, with activities and discussions. The number of people per class is kept small (maximum 4) to enable times of personal contemplation as well as the opportunity for small group discussions when appropriate and agreeable.

Improving Posture using simple exercises
Do I use my time and energy wisely
20 minutes Seated Physiological Progressive Relaxation

Week 2:
How and why we should breath properly
Improving Breathing using simple exercises
Do I have negative thoughts and what can I do about it
Diary Sheets to improve reactions to stressors
20 minutes Seated Physiological Progressive Relaxation

Week 3:
How and why we have muscle tension
Improving Muscular relaxation using simple exercises
Do I need to change anything in my life
20 minutes Seated Physiological Progressive Relaxation

Week 4:
What have we learned
Setting personal objectives and goals
20 minutes relaxation using standing and sitting exercises
Any questions
